Batik is great collection of SVG utilities, including (but not limited to):

  • Browser
  • Rasterizer
  • Font Converter
  • Pretty-printer

Batik is also a reference application where many potential features of SVG are tested. It is part of the Apache suite of server applications, and works well with such applications as Tomcat. It is written in Java.
