JSR 287

JSR 287, or Scalable 2D Vector Graphics API 2.0 for JME, is an update to JSR 226 to bring support for SVG Tiny 1.2 features and is being specified within the Java Community Process. While at this time there are no known details on how the APIs will look, it is expected that the MicroDOM model used in JSR 226 will be leveraged. Completion of the JSR 287 effort is expected early in 2007.
