SVG Phones
From Svg wiki
An SVG phone is a phone that has support for a mobile SVG profile, for instance SVG Tiny 1.1 or SVG Tiny 1.2. The way mobile SVG is integrated into various mobile phones can vary, the main use cases being SVG rendering within the web browser and customizing the phone user interface rendered as SVG.
Mobile SVG is currently being massively deployed with tens of millions of phones already shipped to customers throughout the world, Europe having the largest installed user base. SVG.org tracks new SVG phones and keeps an often updated list of shipping and announced SVG phones.
SVG Tiny 1.1 Plus is the current technology shipped in mobile phones and allows for full-fledged SMIL-based animation, all core graphics and text features, and graphics refinements such as fill and stroke opacity as well as gradients. SVG Tiny 1.2, starting to roll out in mobile phones in early 2006, takes mobile SVG one step further by providing scripting capabilities as well as multimedia embedding support.
